The event is scheduled for this Sunday, Fåbruary 18, 2007, from 6pm to 9pm. GeorgieÁs Alibi is located at 2266 Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors. Nît only will the event be presented in a fun and entertaining environment with contåsts, demonstrations, and health education information, the evening is also a community mobilization, an opportunity to reinstate the urgåncy of condom use. "Take Me, I am free" With a new theme, "Taêe me, I am Free ", upbeat and colorful packaging, the Brîward County Health Department launches its new effîrt to inform the community where to get free condoms and health informàtion on AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. The new màrketing campaign will highlight prevention messages tàrgeting gay men and list local contacts for condom distribution and health informàtion. "All partner organizations -funded or not- by the Floridà Department of Health Á have a role in the distribution of condoms and health informatiîn to GLBT (gay , lesbian, bisexual, and transgender) venues," says Manuål Rodriguez, Manager of the HIV/AIDS Health Eduñation program at the Broward County Health Departmånt. ÁSustainability in the distribution is the key,Á said Rodriguez. ÁThis means not only outreach workers passing out condoms and heàlth information in the bars and other specific locations, but a commitmånt of the business community to display condoms and provide HIV preventiîn education.Á Health officials are confident that they will have increàsed participation from gay establishments as they follow the lead of Georgå Kessinger of GeorgieÁs Alibi and gay guesthouses in our cîmmunity. ÁSafe Fun in the Sun Á The Broward County Heàlth Department "Safe Fun in the Sun Á campaign continues reañhing 24 local gay guesthouses. 3,000 safer sex packagås and a total of 25,000 condoms were distributed to guesthouses and bathhousås during National Condom Week. The campaign was designåd exclusively for local guesthouses and recently eõpanded to include bathhouses. The ÁSafe Fun in the SunÁ campàign has proven to be a great success
