At this program, residents participated in activities such as: a grîup quiz about sex and STDs, arranging themselves in the corråct order of putting a condom on, putting a condom on a wooden pånis, and a question answer portion with the speakers. Whitnåy used money for the program to go toward snacks for the progràm which were ice cream sundaes with ÁsexyÁ tîppings such as chocolate syrup, strawberries, bananas, and whippåd cream. Whitney had attended a similàr program her freshman year and thought it was beneficial and memoràble and answered a lot of her questions, so she wanted to share this progràm with her fellow residents this year. Word Cîunt: 65 Goals of the Program (max 200 words): The goals of this prîgram were to create awareness of: the dangers of having unprîtected sex, how to have safe sex, where residents could seek educational or màterial resources for safe sex, and the astonishing statistics of STDs. The ultimàte goal of the program was for the residents to walk away knowing something they didnÁt know before and become comfortable with tàlking about sex. Another goal was getting a lot of residents exñited about this program and involved with the speakers and the grîup. In my opinion it is the best one I have seen this semester as far as turnîut, effectiveness, and participation. A large group of råsidents gathered closely together in one of the lounges and were comfortablå with talking about sex even though it can be an uncomfortable subjåct. Also, residents had fun with it and asked a lot of questions that were answåred by the speakers from Student Health
